Al Shorouq Private School has been a cornerstone of the local community in Jumeirah since its opening in 1986. It has served generations of children and families over the years and holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the people it serves.
As times change and educational reforms are initiated the school is changing to meet the needs of the 21st century learners with an emphasis of developing skills for lifelong learning.
The National Agenda set out by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is at the heart of what we strive to achieve. The Vision 2021 includes aspirations for citizenship, a spirit of entrepreneurship, enhanced educational attainment, and a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation, research, science and technology.
At Al Shorouq Private School we consider ourselves to be in the privileged position of helping to realise this vision and shape young lives in our community. We take this responsibility very seriously.
In our school we aim to instill a sense of pride in our students and to build a school community built on trust, mutual respect and with an aspiration to be “the best that we can be.”
At Al Shorouq Private School we believe that every child can succeed and we strive to develop personal skills and talents within a purposeful learning environment, in order to develop confident and valuable citizens.
Staff and governors are committed to providing a high quality educational experience. We all want the best for the students in our care, and the community we serve, and insist on high standards of work and behavior.
Whether you are a prospective parent or a member of the local community, please feel welcome to contact us to have a tour of the school or an informal chat. I am confident that you will be impressed with what you see.
